This site offers users a comprehensive package of learning modules, tools, and guidance for designing and conducting a serosurvey. Many of the lessons and tools presented in these modules were developed as part of the Strengthening Immunization Systems through Serosurveillance (SISS) project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The SISS project, with field teams in Zambia and India, assesses the feasibility and utility of serological surveillance to guide immunization programs. Refer to the Toolkit page for more details on the serosurveys for which the example tools presented in these modules were developed.
These learning modules were developed by a team based at the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) within the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with support from additional staff at the school and abroad.
